The time has come to close this journal down. It has served it's purpose, allowing me to share my graphite drawings of male x male encounters with others ~ but there is more to me and my interests than simply slash/yaoi and homoerotica. As you may have noticed...or not, I'm rarely posting anything here at all these days....and it's because I'm moving on.

Once upon a time I had a website, where I hosted all kinds of works that I was creating ~ then I got busy with life and a young family ~ and a pencil was about the only medium I could work in with ease. It allowed for constant interuptions without completely trying my patience. Brushes, paint and ink always need to be cleaned up and put away, while graphite is infinately patient and will wait for my return quietly upon my desk.

I encountered fandom and enjoyed playing there ~ but I no longer have much interest in repeating endlessly the same theme, nor reworking others characters into the same old same old. For a while I burned out creatively, but it's coming back and from all directions (mediums)

My interest has not entirely shifted away from pretty males, but it is no longer my entire focus ~ which is as it should be. I have always said that above all things ~ I am curious. And I'm starting to explore again.

I am changing webhosts in a week, and when that happens I will not be re-uploading images here. Instead I will be taking those that I like the most and moving them ~ to a journal I created for the purpose of sharing ALL my artwork ~ many years ago.... painting_dragon.

In this new/old lj I will share and muse upon my humble attempts at macro photography, acrylics, inks, CG, textile arts, collage, pencil and other artistic endevours. I hope to see you there some time.
